OPTA does not charge one-off fees for registering the providers of postal transport services and public electronic communication activities, or for the termination of registration and amendments to (contact) details. Depending on the relevant turnover, however, an annual fee may be charged. OPTA will charge these fees for its supervision of both markets.
In the case of the providers of qualified certificates (TTP services), which have a valid assessment certificate, no one-off fees will be charged for registration. If a provider of qualified certificates does not have a valid assessment certificate, however, the Commission will charge a one-off fee for registration. In addition, providers of qualified certificates are required to pay an annual fee, which depends on the number of certificates issued to the public, for supervision by the Commission.
