Numbers
OPTA manages available and other numbers in the Netherlands. It assigns numbers and monitors their usage. For instance, 070 numbers are reserved for connections in The Hague and a mobile phone number always begins with 06.
Register
OPTA keeps precise records of the numbers that are held by particular people. The relevant register is open to the public. You can use it to search:
- and discover whether a specific number is available;
- for the owner of a particular number;
- which numbers are available for you to apply for.
