The Ministry of Economic Affairs determines the allocation of all numbers in the Netherlands. The various numbering plans can be found on the Ministry’s website. OPTA manages and issues all numbers, categorised in information numbers, business numbers and all other numbers. Many parties can apply for numbers in the first two categories, but only telecom operators can apply for all other numbers. At the moment applying for a Dutch number is only possible in the Dutch language. The application forms can be found here.
